2004 Third Coast Festival / Richard H. Driehaus
Foundation Competition
This year's competition attracted more than 200 entries from seven countries,
including Croatia, Austria and the Netherlands. The winners were announced
October 30, 2004 at an awards ceremony at the Museum of Contemporary Art in
Chicago. Accepting the 2004 Lifetime Achievement Award was
Susan Stamberg, senior correspondent for NPR, mentor and confidante to several
generations of reporters.
