2009 Third Coast Festival / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition

The 2009 TCF / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition attracted 240 entries of all lengths and styles from ten different countries across five continents. The winners were selected by a panel of expert judges and honored on October 23, 2009 at our Awards Ceremony held at the Arts Club of Chicago. Accepting the Festival's 2009 Audio Luminary Award given to legendary radio dramatist Eric Bauersfeld.

The winning documentaries from the 2009 Competition were featured in the 2009 Third Coast Broadcast which aired on public radio stations nationwide over the holiday season.
