Entry fees and Deadline

> $50 for entries uploaded on or before Midnight (PST) Friday, June 19
> $30 for student entries uploaded on or before Friday, June 19
> $70 for all entries uploaded Saturday June 20 through Friday, July 10

Entries uploaded after Midnight (PST) Friday, July 10 will not be judged.

Payment will be submitted (separately per entry) at the time each entry is uploaded to PRX.org. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause for those of you submitting multiple entries! We'll work on it for next year.

Technical requirements / information

> Entries are accepted through PRX.org as mp2 audio files only. You'll find information on how to (relatively painlessly) convert your WAV, AIFF, or CDA file to an mp2 file at PRX.org, as you complete the submission process. The kind folks over at PRX will be happy to clear up any technical complications you might encounter while uploading your entry. Just contact them directly.

> Each entry must be uploaded separately, and will receive a unique entry number.

> Entries should not contain audio other than entry material. Text versions of intros or ledes must be submitted online, along with producer bios, for each entry.

In case you missed this elsewhere on the site:
Please note! Uploading your submission, especially if it's a longer piece (or if you have multiple entries) may take more time than you think. We strongly recommend that you submit your entry/entries well in advance of each deadline to avoid any last-minute complications. Trust us!

At the time of upload, you will be asked to provide:

> One mp2 audio file per entry
> Brief producer bio (85 words max)
> A text version of the host lede, or a short intro for the entry (200 words max)
> Statement of qualification with Best New Artist Award entries (500 words max)
> Statement of impact with Radio Impact Award entries (500 words max)

Once entries arrive:

Confirmation that your entry has been successfully uploaded will be sent by email, along with a receipt for your entry fee. If you pay by check, you'll receive one email to let you know your entry has been successfully uploaded, and another after your check is recieved, along with a receipt, when your entry is completely processed.

Winners will be notified in late August, 2009.
