Congratulations to the winners of the 2012 TC/RHDF Competition!
It was an amazing year for radio documentaries – all told we received almost 300 entries from 12 different countries. Eight stories were selected for awards (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Directors’ Choice, Honorable Mention, Best News Feature, Radio Impact, Best New Artist) by more than two dozen judges.

Awards
This year's winners received cash awards of $1000 - $4000 and a license for Hindenburg Journalist Pro editing software. They also took home beautifully crafted, awards that resemble vintage radios, designed and built by Michael Chupich of Trek Studios with design consultation by Richard H. Driehaus.
JUDGING
Entries were judged by accomplished audio producers, along with media professionals in related fields such as film, photography and print.
Judges considered the degree to which the entries - of all styles, lengths and subject matter - related their stories successfully. Story choice, technical quality, editorial integrity, creativity, writing and use of sound all factored into the selection of the winners.
