Third Coast Filmless Festival

Once a year the Third Coast stretches its wings, embraces the film festival model (minus the popcorn - too noisy) and presents the Third Coast Filmless Festival - a day-long celebration of sound, story, and the art of listening.

Radio fans gather "in the dark" for screenings of unforgettable audio documentaries, producer q&a sessions, lobby hoopla, and an evening event/grand finale.

Filmless Fest-goers can buy passes or individual tickets and may literally spend the whole day bopping from one screening block to the next. If you've never sat in a room listening to audio stories with a hundred other people - it's high time you give it a try.

The next TCFF will be in Fall, 2011. But in the meantime - have a look at the 2010 Recap, and check out the screenings from this past TCFF, which took place March 6, in partnership with Chicago Public Radio Presents and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.
