Mary R. Gould is an assistant professor in the Department of Communication at Saint Louis University. She teaches and researches digital storytelling, popular culture and critical theories of communication, with a particular focus on studies of transgression and deviance in contemporary culture.
Daniel Makagon is an associate professor in the College of Communication at DePaul University. He teaches and researches urban communication, audio documentary, and community in intercultural contexts. His co-authored book, Recording Culture: Audio Documentary and the Ethnographic Experience, was published with Sage.
