Dave Engen teaches Communication Studies at Minnesota State University, Mankato. He started producing audio stories in 2007 after attending several workshops at Duke University's Center for Documentary Studies. His audio work typically features places and people from the Minnesota River Valley in South Central Minnesota.

Robert Jersak teaches in the Communication Department at Century College in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. His audio projects have focused on recently returned veterans’ voices and Hispanic/Latino perceptions of higher education.
