Kathleen Goldhar was asked to go out and try on the latest in swimsuit technology: the LZR Racer, made by Speedo, which is VERY form-fitting, and VERY hard to get into.
Control of Swimsuit and Mind was produced for the 2008 ShortDocs Challenge: Radio Ephemera.
Kathleen Goldhar is one of the original producers at The Current. Her CBC Radio career begain in 1999 in Winnipeg where she worked as a reporter and associate producer in Winnipeg. She returned home to Toronto as a producer with National Radio News and As It Happens. Before moving to radio, Goldhar worked as a print reporter at the Whitehorse Daily Star and the Vancouver Sun, and as a student intern at the Toronto Star.
Radio Ephemera challenged any/everyone to produce a short audio work inspired by two books from the Prelinger Library in San Francisco, and featuring the voice of a stranger.
