When a venerable neighborhood tree is struck down its loss is felt by all the residents on the street, but sometimes nature has its reasons.

The Big Strike! was produced for the 2008 TCF ShortDocs Challenge: Radio Ephemera.

Radio Ephemera challenged any/everyone to produce a short audio work inspired by two books from the Prelinger Library in San Francisco, and featuring the voice of a stranger.
