Story

Making cold calls, in search of warmth.

I've Got a Question for You was produced for the 2007 TCF ShortDocs Challenge: Dollar Storeys.

Producer

Zak Rosen is an independent multi-media producer. He was most recently staff producer on State of the Re:Union, a new public radio documentary show co-distributed by NPR and PRX. Prior to working on SOTRU, Rosen produced Detroit Today; WDET’s daily local affairs program. He's a proud board member of Detroit’s InsideOut Literary Arts Project. He also sits happily on the steering committee of Detroit: City of Hope, “An evolving communal vision that calls Detroit into a place where humanity lives with purpose and dignity.”

Extra

The Dollar Storeys project invited any/everyone to produce a short audio work inspired by one of three items purchased at a dollar store:
- ceramic mug sporting feisty feminist banter
- 4-pack of wooden mousetraps
- an old-school bicycle bell

I've Got a Question For You was inspired by the bicycle bell and the mousetraps.
