This TCF audio challenge, inspired by the French literary group Oulipo, was a collaboration with cartoonist Matt Madden.
With 99 Ways to Tell a Radio Story, the TCF challenged producers to create pieces adhering to the following guidelines: they had to begin with some manifestation of the notion, “To begin with, they never got along”; they had to include a prerecorded voice, a rhythmic noise, and an exclamation; and they had to run exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Producer Allison Schuette-Hoffman went with a production style she describes as "noir."
