Producer Katie Mingle narrates her quest to find ghosts in a "pauper's graveyard" in New Orleans.
Along the way, she meets a little boy who has lost his father, visits with some gravediggers who don't believe in ghosts, and learns some haunting lessons about life and death in New Orleans.
Katie Mingle won the Best New Artist Award for The Dead Can't Do You Nothin', in the 2007 Third Coast / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition.
Producer
Katie Mingle joined the Third Coast Festival staff in June, 2010. She produces Re:sound, hosts the Third Coast Podcast, and develops features for the website. Previous to joining the Third Coast staff, Katie taught audio-editing and documentary skills to high school students and produced her own work, much of which has aired on Re:sound.
