Masaki Araya, a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Art in Audio Arts and Acoustics from Columbia College Chicago, is a composer, arranger, engineer, mixer and producer. His love for audio documentaries began in his final semester at Columbia in fall of 2009. Since then, he has been creating audio documentaries off and on whenever and wherever he could. He is currently an audio tutor at Harold Washington College in Chicago.
Book Odds invited anyone/everyone to produce a short audio work inspired by (and named after) song titles from The Books' record The Way Out, and including samples from their library of musical bits, strange phrases and sonic doodads. Read more about and listen to other Book Odds submissions.
