Elena Botkin-Levy is a freelance radio producer currently based in Oakland, CA. She started producing radio as a teenager and fell in love with the medium. Since then, she has produced work for the National Radio Project’s Making Contact, Free Speech Radio News, KALW’s Crosscurrents, and outLoud Radio. She especially loves working with queer youth to produce radio with outLoud Radio.
Book Odds invited anyone/everyone to produce a short audio work inspired by (and named after) song titles from The Books' record The Way Out, and including samples from their library of musical bits, strange phrases and sonic doodads. Read more about and listen to other Book Odds submissions.
