Matthew and the Judge: Juvenile Court Diary

Matthew Omisore is sixteen and a repeat drug offender. For a year, he kept an audio diary of his thoughts while in jail and after his release. Meanwhile,  the judge in charge of  his case kept his own audio diary. Their stories highlight the delicate interplay between one man’s decisions and another’s future. 

La Frontera

Just over the border of El Paso Texas, Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, has been infamously dubbed the murder capital of the world. In his documentary La Frontera, Australian producer Colm McNaughton attempts to understand the larger causes behind the violence at the border.
