Cathy FitzGerald works as a freelance writer, oral historian, and producer for Antenna Audio, making audio tours for cultural institutions in the UK, and producing a monthly podcast for the National Gallery, London. She also travels the UK interviewing veterans on behalf of the Imperial War Museum’s Sound Archive, and knows a surprising amount about U-boats. She has a DPhil from the University of Sussex.
