Soren Wheeler studied literature, creative writing, and philosophy at the University of Wisconsin. He then spent ten years working with K-12 science and math teachers and writing about how kids learn science, including co-authoring the book Atlas of Science Literacy. Wheeler left the formal education world, earned a masters degree at Johns Hopkins University, and has been a reporter, producer, and editor at WNYC’s Radiolab ever since.
