Alexa Dilworth has a B.A. and an M.A., both in English, from the University of Florida, and an M.F.A. in creative writing from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. In 1995 she was hired by the Center for Documentary Studies (CDS) to work for DoubleTake magazine. She is now publishing director at CDS, and also runs the awards program, which includes the Lange-Taylor Prize, the CDS/Honickman First Book Prize in Photography, and 25 Under 25: Up-and-Coming American Photographers.
