Celeste Wesson

Celeste Wesson has been Senior Producer of Marketplace since 2003. Her adventures in radio began as a volunteer DJ for a weekly women’s music show in Durham, North Carolina. She anchored daily newscasts there and at WBAI in New York. For NPR, Celeste worked as an editor, show producer (WATC), and as a reporter in the Los Angeles Bureau. She produced and hosted the public affairs series The United States of Los Angeles for KCRW. In 2000, she went to American Public Media as editor of The Savvy Traveler, before joining Marketplace
