Kajsa Kvaale graduated as an animation filmdirector from the National Danish Filmschool in 1998. From 1990 to 1994 Kvaale studied Illustration at The London Institute, Camberwell College of Arts. Kvaale has worked with animation on and off for the last 10 years.
