Virginia Millington spent her younger days making radio in the wilds of Minneapolis, the geometric streets of Washington, DC, and the deserts of Namibia, before landing in Brooklyn. She has been an organizer and contributor to a variety of sound-and-book-related exhibitions over the last eight years, which includes stints at the Walker Art Center, the Folger Shakespeare Library, and any number of warehouses and empty rooms. She was an original member of the DC Listening Lounge, and currently heads the Recording & Archive department at StoryCorps.
