TCF DOCSHOP

Co-presented with Experimental Sound Studio in Chicago, this two-day workshop, taught by Dan Collison and Elizabeth Meister of Long Haul Productions, provides an introduction to the nuts and bolts of producing a short radio story. You'll learn basic interviewing techniques, how to properly record an interview, how to edit the results with ProTools, and how to use additional sounds to enhance the story. There will be audio "homework" to listen to prior to the workshop, and familiarity with audio editing software is a plus, but not necessary. Space is limited; call 773-769-1069 to register. |
