The 2007 ShortDocs were selected from the dozens of stories from around the world that were submitted for our Dollar Storeys audio adventure, which was a happy collaboration with Chicago's Dollar Store Show reading series. Each submission was inspired by one of three items purhcased at a Dollar Store in downtown Chicago:

feisty women mug                             4pk mousetrap set                         metal bicycle jingle bell

These ShortDocs were premiered publicly in Chicago in September, 2007 at a Listening Room event, and were presented by the producers themselves at the 2007 TCF Conference. Here they're listed alphabetically by producer.

You can also listen to the other 72 Dollar Storeys submissions, and read more about the project.
