Castile was shot during a traffic stop, in the summer of 2016, as he drove home from the grocery store with his girlfriend and her four year-old daughter. Just seventy-four seconds elapsed between the moment officer Jeronimo Yanez turned on his squad car lights to the moment he fired the seventh and final shot into Castile's car.
