The walls are moving
The words sound the same
I’m dizzy, I’m sweating
My heart is beating fast
I’m running, though I’m walking
Stress in silence
Constantly anxiety
And I’m just going to buy milk
Like a hunted animal
Fighting for survival
I am hurrying, so I can be safe
Home, in my bed
But the anxiety gets to me
It wants to spoon with me
I tell it, it’s not welcome here,
But it does not care
