Erik Laar (aka Steptone) has produced music with turntables for nearly 10 years. You'll hear this influence shine through in his layered compositions whilst cutting up his own vocals or sampling and creating from a series of sources including vinyl. Mostly known for his work with eccentric turntable band iNSiDEaMiND, he's toured extensively in Canada, UK, and California creating live compositions with a variety of electronics. He is currently working on his debut solo album entitled "Weight of the World" which will be released late 2010 under his frequently used moniker Steptone.
