Here's your typical love story, except for one small detail: the husband is a race horse.
Besides that, it's a familiar, romantic fable: with courtship, the meeting of parents and friends, a festive wedding, fun-filled honeymoon, occasional disagreement between the lovebirds, and eventually, of course, the pitter patt clip clop of little hooves.
Me and Run Like a Dream was written by Elizabeth Reale, produced by Jessie Borrelle, and engineered and sound designed by Jon Tjhia, for the Melbourne-based audio journal Paper Radio. Illustration is by Lachlan Conn, voices are by Prudence Smith, Ange Arabatzis, Jo Case and Tamara Zimet. Trumpet is provided by Oscar O'Bryan.
