People with CF live an average of 30 years. Two years ago, Laura was given a tape recorder, and since that time she has been keeping an audio diary of her battle with the disease and her attempts to lead a normal life with lungs than often betray her.
My So-Called Lungs won the Best Documentary : Bronze Award in the 2002 Third Coast / Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition.
