Andrew Mambo

Andrew Mambo (@TheRealMambo) is a podcast producer at ESPN where he helped launch the 30 for 30 podcast in 2017 to tell narrative sports stories.

Andrew began his media career working at community radio stations in Montreal before moving to London where he worked as a reporter for BBC Radio 1Xtra news team. After switching gears for several years doing humanitarian aid work in Sub-Saharan Africa, he returned to radio in 2012 with Radio Rookies at New York Public Radio. He also co-produced The Gettysburg Story, a feature length documentary film for Maryland Public Television that broadcast nationally and starting in 2018 has taught radio part-time at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
