Christina Hardinge
Christina Hardinge is a UK based audio producer and multi-disciplinary artist working creatively in the field of documentary.
She has over 10 years experience telling intimate personal stories rooted in interview, spanning the mediums of audio, film, theatre and immersive installation. Since translating her skills to audio over the last 2 years, she has become a two-time winner of the Charles Parker Prize and her work has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and 4 (Short Cuts, Between the Ears).
She also has qualified training as a counsellor and facilitator, informing her often collaborative and participatory approach to documentary storytelling. She is currently funded by the Arts Council to develop a body of research into what it means to have a ‘trauma informed’ practice when working at the intersection of trauma and art/documentary - a question that sits firmly as the backbone of the work that she creates.
