Lakeidra Chavis (@lakeidrachavis) is a producer for WBEZ in Chicago. She 2018 Third Coast Radio Resident.

Before coming to the Windy City, she reported in Alaska, covering everything from climate change to police misconduct. She has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
