Nicole Kelly

NK (@bitchfacepod) is an artist who uses sound, situation and prose to make revolution irresistible. NK is a proud member of Radio (R)ejects, a collective of queer and poc radio artists, whose 2019 Third Coast Breakout Session will get SWEATY with the question: "what does it sound like when we experiment with audio to capture our experiences?" This session will be for POC, femmes, people with disabilities, trans peeps and queers who want to talk about how, why and for whom we tell our stories.

Currently the Programming Director at the Women’s Center for Creative Work in Los Angeles, NK is also the co-host & co-producer of bitchface , an experimental audio project. Her audio work has been featured on The Heart, Afropunk’s Solutions Sessions, and the CBC’s Podcast Playlist.

In a past life, NK received an MFA from the Programs In Writing at UC Irvine and was a Kimbilio Fiction Fellow, and her fiction appeared in ZYZZYVA, Fiction Southeast, and elsewhere.
