Nikole Hannah-Jones
Nikole Hannah-Jones is a staff writer at The New York Times Magazine covering racial inequality.
Prior to joining The Times, Hannah-Jones worked at the non-profit investigative reporting organization, ProPublica, The Oregonian in Portland, and The News & Observer in Raleigh. Her reporting has won several national awards, including a Peabody, a Polk, Online News Association awards, National Education awards, the Sigma Delta Chi Award for Public Service, the grand prize for national education reporting, and was a finalist for the National Magazine Award. She was also the National Association of Black Journalists' 2015 Journalist of the Year.
