Sam Riddell

Sam Riddell (she/her) is a podcast producer and documentary videographer from Queens, New York.

Her work centers on sexual health, Black feminism, the African Diaspora, and social justice. Trained in both documentary filmmaking and sketch & improvisational comedy, Sam has a penchant for telling stories about the human experience whilst injecting humor along the way. She is the Principal Host of the queer Black feminist focused sexuality podcast Inner Hoe Uprising and the producer for In Those Genes Podcast . Sam has also created content for media outlets like Inverse.com , Democracy Now! and Black & Sexy TV and has produced panels about diverse voices in media spaces at events like Werk It and South by Southwest. Sam loves speculative fiction, dim sum, and a good pun and despises bigotry and poorly constructed memes.
