Syeda Hasan

Syeda Hasan (@KUTsyeda) is a public radio reporter at KUT News, the NPR member station in Austin, Texas.

Her coverage focuses on issues of housing development and growing affordability challenges in the central Texas region. Syeda comes to KUT from her hometown of Houston, where she worked as a general assignment reporter for Houston Public Media. Syeda holds a journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Her work has been heard nationally on public radio shows including NPR's Morning Edition, All Things Considered and Here and Now.
