WLRN (@WLRN) is a national-award-winning public media news organization in Miami, operating in partnership with the Miami Herald.
It focuses on telling the stories of South Florida’s varied and complex communities, from the Palm Beaches to Key West, as well as Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2013, WLRN took home the Third Coast Bronze Award for its documentary Remembering Andrew.

This year we honored the best audio work in the following categories: Best Documentary (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Honorable Mention), Directors Choice, Best New Artist, Best News Feature and Radio Impact. Additionally, Ira Glass of This American Life created The Little Mermaid Award to honor beautifully produced work that is out for fun.
